Joyce worked in the airline industry for 10 years and later worked for Toyota Motor Sales in the logistics department for 19 years. Joyce left Toyota when the company moved to Texas. While she worked at Toyota she learned standardized work and Kaizen (continues improvement). This is important because Kaizen and standardized work knowledge is what helped her start, and continually improve her company Convenient Live Scan And Notary.
She was introduced to the notary world by a cousin who suggested she become a notary signing agent after she left Toyota. When she took the notary exam in 2011 she was fingerprinted and knew that very moment that this would be part of her business.
Joyce is currently employed part time for the National Notary Association as a live scan tech. At notary seminars she fingerprints in the back of the room and answers notary questions from seminar attendees. When she is not working for the NNA, she runs her company, Convenient Live Scan And Notary located in Tracy, California.
